Bullish Boohoo increases sales
Boohoo has announced sales of £183.6 million for its first quarter. This represents an increase of 53 per cent over the same period last year. UK sales had risen by 49 per cent and international rose by 60 per cent. The business says it is on track to become one of the world's biggest fashion brands.
The company expects group revenue growth to be in the range of 35 per cent to 40 per cent for the full year.
Its joint CEOs Mahmud Kamani and Carol Kane commented; "Significant market share gains have been achieved in all of our key focus markets, with our compelling combination of the latest fashion at incredible prices, backed by great customer service resonating strongly with our customers."
