Qwerkity deploys Xen AI platform

Qwerkity, the direct gifts business acquired by The Book People earlier this year, has adopted the RichRelevance personalised product recommendation platform, Zen AI,  with the support of Paraspar. Basket spend from those customers interacting with the technology has increased by 33 per cent and items per order are 42 per cent higher than from those not interacting with the software.

Scott Scott, chief digital officer at Book People/Qwerkity said: "Having worked with RichRelevance  for a number of years at Book People and seeing first hand how personalised recommendations positively impacts  our online sales, there was no question that we would extend our relationship to include the Qwerkity brand. Working alongside Paraspar, the implementation was swift and hassle free. The results have far exceeded our expectations, with the uplift in basket spend of those interacting with the software higher than expected. RichRelevance has taken the needs of our business into account and, for the first time, the Qwerkity website is delivering truly personal recommendations that are providing real ROI."
