Trading Standards swoop on Birmingham factory

Trading Standards officers have found a significant amount of unbranded clothing in a factory unit in Handsworth, Birmingham  together with some 40,000+ labels in the names of Nike, Prada and Chanel. The raid also uncovered high volumes of fake illicitly labelled garments which were ready for shipping. Mohammed Tariq, a senior Trading Standards enforcement officer said that the raid was "a fantastic result in smashing a major manufacturing ring."
