Mel Henson has been writing sales copy for over 20 years, getting results that one client described as ‘stratospheric’, and has trained copywriters all over the world, from Cape Town SA to Christchurch NZ.
She learned the craft of copywriting at Ogilvy & Mather Direct from Drayton Bird who says, ‘Mel is one of the few writers who really understands this business’.
Mel is the lead copywriter at Words that Sell and head of creative at AWA Digital, an international conversion rate optimisation (CRO) agency. Clients include Donald Russell, Canon, Interflora, Mothercare, The Royal Mint, and The Royal Academy.
She is also the author of Amazon business bestseller ‘Flicks and Clicks’, the only book about copy that shows you how to optimize catalogues as well as websites.
