John Lewis has confirmed the appointment of Simon Coble as its trading director. Coble joins from Body Shop where he was UK managing director and had previously been CEO for Uniqlo following a long period in various roles with Arcadia. His new role commences in January. Meanwhile Ed Connolly who had led the trading function on an interim basis takes on the new role of Director, partnership strategy with the retailer.
