OKA ponders the future

Cavendish Corporate Finance has been appointed by OKA to conduct a strategic review of the business which could lead to a sale. Founded by Lady Astor, mother of Samantha Cameron, the luxury interior products business was founded in 1999 to sell its range direct via glossy catalogues. It went on to launch a successful website and to open a chain of stores, currently trading in 14 locations, and to provide interior design services. The winner of a number of ECMOD Direct Commerce Awards and regularly featured in upmarket home interest magazines, OKA generates annual sales of around £30 million. If placed on the market the business is likely to generate significant interest from overseas buyers.
