Scotts of Stow Launches First Ever TV Campaign in the UK

Scotts of Stow, the brand best known for inserting catalogues into national weekend press and woman’s lifestyle magazines, has launched its first ever TV advertising campaign in the UK called ‘Welcome Home’. The move represents an exciting step for Scotts, with the aim of taking its unique brand of Cotswold style, quality and value to a wider audience.

The 60 second commercial is not set, as one might expect, in a centuries old Cotswold stone cottage but in a modern day house, and showcases over 200 products from the Scotts of Stow range, making it truly the ‘Scotts of Stow home’.

Three exclusive Scotts products were chosen to feature in the advert, the clever Automatic Soup Maker (£49.95), the unique TV Turntable (From £69.95) and the innovative Expanding ‘No Slip’ Shoe Rack (From £29.95). The commercial shows three generations of one family browsing the catalogue, shopping online and using exclusive Scotts of Stow products. Plus there’s an introductory offer of 10% off for all new customers.

Allie Oldham, Scotts of Stow’s Marketing Director, says: “We wanted to show that there’s always something different, always something more to discover in a Scotts of Stow catalogue and that contemporary Cotswold style can be applied to any home in the UK”.

“We’re really delighted we’ve finally made the transition onto television, which coincides with the launch of our brand new season collection”.

The campaign began broadcasting on the 8th January 2015 and will run across nationwide channels, including ITV 3, ITV Encore, Sky News and True Entertainment, daily until 31st January 2015.

Initial response to the commercial has been extremely positive with a 700% increase in catalogue requests and a 30% increase in visits to the Scotts of Stow website. To view the advert and a short behind the scenes video, please visit either scottsofstow.tv or the Scotts of Stow YouTube page
