Parcel carrier Yodel has promoted its CFO Andrew Peeler to the post of chief executive officer with immediate effect. Peeler joined Yodel last September and will take over from Mike Cooper who is moving to the CEO role with Eurostar.
Executive chairman Dick Stead commented “I am very pleased that Andrew has accepted the challenge and look forward to him driving the business forward. he has demonstrated rigour and focus and provided clear direction. He is passionate about investing in people to build a successful future and with his extensive experience, he is ideally placed to step up to the CEO role.”
The announcement follows a successful peak for Yodel which saw a 20 per cent improvement in its Trustpilot rating and an average customer satisfaction score of 82 per cent during its busiest period.
