Finkux, the world’s third largest TV manufacturer and a division of Vestel UK has appointed eBay Enterprise to manage its entire fulfilment and shipping operation. Rising sales have prompted the move, necessitating a more expansive delivery service and integrated infrastructure better equipped to deal with high levels of growth. In the last 12 months alone Finlux sales have risen by almost 30 per cent, stretching logistical operations to the limit.
With more than 6 million square feet of global fulfilment space at its disposal, eBay Enterprise will provide storage, manpower and fulfilment expertise for the increasingly high turnover Finlux stock. Customers will be able to choose from a range of delivery options included named day, next day and weekend deliveries, am or pm slots, including after work evening times for specified products. The cut-off time for next day delivery will also be extended.
