Hermes which has over 400 parcel shops in Russia is to expand its parcels business there after acquiring DPD’s 49 per cent share in the joint venture the two businesses had operated together. The move will see Hermes Russia continue to develop its parcel shop coverage to support ecommerce merchants from across Europe with deliveries and returns for their Russian customers. DPD Russia will continue to handle the transport and logistics for the venture with Hermes as its client.
