Hotel Chocolat develops beauty range

Hotel Chocolat is leveraging the expertise of its non-executive director Andrew Gerrie to extend its offering into cocoa derived beauty products. Gerrie spent 20 years as a director of Lush and has led the development of the Rabot 1745 range of 14 products which includes body lotion and body butter. The products are apparently selling well in its stores. CEO Angus Thirlwell  commented “We are thrilled to introduce Rabot 1745 inspired by the wild beauty of our Saint Lucian cacao plantation.” Hotel Chocolat has also launched range of coffee.
